Modern Lyrical

Modern/ Lyrical  dance explores movement through the dancer's body combining structures from ballet, jazz and contemporary dance without being as strict and structured as ballet.  The movement is free, fluid and expressive combining technique and natural movement from your own body.  Your body is driven by the music and your own breath and there is never a wrong step.  If your child is looking for a class to freely move and express themselves without being confined to strict ballet rules, than Modern/ Lyrical is the class for them.
