Sloane McKenna Loudenback has been a competitive dancer for 9 years, making dance a central part of her life from an early age.
She has taught Ballet, Tap, Acro, and Hip Hop, with a strong specialty in Jazz, Contemporary, and Modern.
Sloane was a company member at Orchesis, where she focused primarily on Modern, Contemporary, and Jazz.
She has choreographed for production-sized groups as well as large groups, small groups, solos, duos, and trios within the competitive dance space.
She holds a degree in Kinesiology, which deeply influences her teaching approach.
Sloane is passionate about the connection between technique and strength, and she values proper alignment and injury prevention. In her own words, studying both dance and kinesiology “reinforced how important proper technique and caring for the body are.” Much of her teaching has focused on stretch, strength, turns, and leaps, especially for competitive-level dancers.
