Lauren Fu brings over 13 years of elite competitive dance training and has studied with nationally recognized teachers in ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, tap, musical theater, and heels. She is currently the Artistic Director of Thrive Dance Company at UC Berkeley, where she leads rehearsals, choreographs original works, and mentors collegiate dancers.
Lauren has taught dancers ages 2–18 and is passionate about developing strong technique, confidence, and artistry in every student. A former varsity dance team captain, National Teen Miss DEA, and recipient of prestigious scholarships from Dance Educators of America, KAR, JUMP, and Point Park University School of Dance, Lauren combines exceptional training with an inspiring and positive teaching style.
